MMO’s Golden Cream of Mushroom Soup uses one pound equivalent of carefully and freshly dehydrated organic oyster mushrooms. Unlike our many bean soup mixes which require only water to prepare, this amazing mushroom soup requires the addition of milk, sour cream, and soy sauce, as indicated in the instructions. (Vegans can use non-dairy alternatives for these dairy items to enjoy a vegan version) . The entire preparation process for this soup is about 45 minutes. Each package makes 5-6 delicious one cup servings. We recommend using a low sodium soy sauce if you wish to keep the sodium level down. (Note that gluten-free soy sauce is also available in stores). We suggest chopping the mushrooms into smaller pieces before re-hydrating if you prefer smaller chunks in your mushroom soup. If you like mushroom soup, we know you’ll just love this Golden Cream of Mushroom Soup. We’re pleased to say that this is one of our most recently developed soups and it’s quickly becoming a big hit with customers. It’s also really fun to make, especially with the kids helping.
