75 years ago, Robert Porterfield began a cultural experience unparalleled to our region. The Virginia Highlands Festival has continued to grow in size and scope to become a destination for tourists and a beloved regional cultural resource for the arts, history and culture of Southwest Virginia.

It’s a time-honored, regional tradition, our award-winning Juried Arts & Crafts Show in beautiful downtown Abingdon, Virginia. Find hand-crafted treasures including pottery, jewelry, mixed mediums, paintings, photography, sculpture, soaps & lotions, and more.

Mountain Momma Organics™ offers 300+ handmade gourmet food items personally created by culinary artisans Kim & Keith Finger at our West Virginia farm.  Having evolved from a small produce farm, we promote healthy lifestyles through our organic pantry-foods portfolio.  We restrict our media to 100% certified organic ingredients and address special dietary needs, such as vegan, gluten free, low sodium, chemical free, etc.  We only sell through 35-40 festivals in eight mid-Atlantic states and through our website. Our goal is to educate about the importance of organic foods through the experience of our delicious food creations.  We are “Tamarack – The Best of West Virginia” approved artisans.
