DESCRIPTION:The North Carolina Apple Festival\nSeptember 2\, 3\, 4: 10am-8pm\,   Sep 5: 10am until end of parade \nThe North Carolina Apple Festival is held annually over Labor Day Weekend in Hendersonville\, North Carolina.  Come enjoy 4 days of fun including one of the most famous Street Fairs in the Carolinas with freshly picked apples\, arts & crafts\, festival food\, and free entertainment at the Historic Courthouse on Hendersonville’s beautiful Main Street.   Top it off with the King Apple parade on Labor Day. \nMountain Momma Organics will be returning again this year from West Virginia.  They offer over 300 handmade gourmet food items personally created by culinary artisans Kim & Keith Finger at their West Virginia farm.  All of their foods are created from 100% certified organic ingredients\, and most are vegan\, gluten free\, & contain ZERO chemical preservatives or additives.  Their goal is to create affordable quality reproductions to share with others so they may experience healthy and delicious organic food choices.  They are  “Tamarack – The Best of West Virginia” approved artisans. DESCRIPTION:58th Annual Festival in the Park at Freedom Park in Charlotte\, NC\nFriday\, September 16\,  4:00 pm – 9:00 pm\nSaturday\, September 17\, 10:00 am – 9:00 pm\nSunday\, September 18\, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm\nSince 1964\, Festival in the Park has been bringing good music\, good art and good times to Charlotteans and visitors from around the world. The sounds of  “big band music” drift across Freedom Park’s lake whose still surface reflects the lights strung from Camelot exhibit tents. \nThe scents of a variety of food fill the air\, as small children with painted faces happily produce their first art work. Others find the many talented artists who can create an original work of art to grace their home or to give as the perfect gift. \nFirst time visitors are taken by the simple\, relaxed atmosphere. Old timers marvel at the freshness of each year’s offerings\, as memories from long ago festivals are revisited. Unlike most festivals our lighting system allows us to continue into the night. \nAdmission is free to all! \nOver 150 artisans have been invited to exhibit and sell their work at Festival in the Park. Festival spectators will have the chance to meet and chat with the artists while looking for that special piece of artwork to grace their home. From caricature artists\, fine oil paintings\, pottery and artisan foods\, the Festival offers art for all ages. \nThe Festival Lake Walk is an area of artists exhibiting at Festival in the Park\, consisting of traditional arts and crafts.
